A special project brief I received at University of Arts London involved a competition to win a client. The task was to create an engaging design to be utilized at events held by the non-profit organization, Live+Breathe, whose mission is to educate Londoners on the deadly air quality of south London in positive and engaging ways. Out of over 30 groups of students, we produced a zine that won the professional brief. Our work is being used at Live+Breathe events and was presented at Fête of Britain (with Factory International /Aviva Studios) in Manchester.
Our concept stood out because it was much more than an educational zine. We designed a potential system, accessible by both time and cost. This system included an easy to print zine, photobooth  mockups and resources, and sizable events surrounding the content. The zine was comprised of our poetry and collages, encapsulating the connection between people and nature in an urban setting.  It is meant to live as a interactive art piece and takeaway that brings awareness to Live+Breathe’s brand as well as a prompt to be expanded upon by extra editions, performance art, photography, events/workshops, and the cutting/usage of the zine itself. I found this to be one of the most impactful and interesting pieces I worked on in London.
